6 Different Types of Korma to Try This Ramadan

Korma is one of the most popular dishes in the Sub-continent and in many other parts of the world. It is very popular in Pakistan and India and people make it with many different recipes. Today in this article we will tell you 6 different Ramadan 2021 special Korma recipes.

1: Ramadan Special Dry Fruit Korma

Ingredients:

  • Beef – Half KG
  • Oil – Half Cup
  • Cinnamon – 2/3 Pieces
  • Clove (commonly known as long)
  • Small cardamom
  • Ginger & Garlic paste – Two tablespoons
  • Tomatoes – 2/3
  • Crushed Coriander a tablespoon
  • Cumin half tablespoon
  • Red Chili a tablespoon
  • Garam Masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Yogurt One and a half cup
  • Onion 2 pieces
  • Apricot one cup
  • Almonds half cup
  • Cashews – half a cup
  •  Raisin twenty grams
  • Damson Plum (Aloo Bukara) half a cup
  • Walnuts 10 grams

Method:

Heat oil in a pan and add cinnamon, cloves and small cardamom.

Then add ginger garlic paste, beef and fry and add tomatoes.

Then mix coriander, cumin, red pepper, hot spices, black pepper and salt and fry.

Now add yoghurt and mix well.

Once the yoghurt is absorbed, add the fried onions, apricots, almonds, cashews, raisins, Aloo Bukhara and walnuts, mix well and cook until it turns into a paste.

The Dry Fruit Korma is ready to be served.

2: Ramadan Special Afghani Korma

Ingredients:

  • Boiled half kg mutton
  • Oil a quarter cup
  • Onion – Two pieces (chopped)
  • Ginger and Garlic paste – a tablespoon
  • Salt a tablespoon
  • Chili pepper a tablespoon
  • Sabut Lal Mirch (Red Chili Whole)  eight pieces
  • Yogurt – Half Cup
  • Lemon Juice a tablespoon
  • Garam Masala half a tablespoon

Method:

Heat oil and lightly fry onion in it.

Then add ginger garlic paste, salt and crushed red pepper and fry well.

Then add the meat to the pan, add the red chilies and yoghurt and cook for ten minutes, stirring constantly.

Now put it on low heat for another ten minutes.

Finally add lemon juice, curry powder and hot spices.

The delicious Afghani Korma is ready to be served.

3: Ramadan Special Chicken White Korma

Ingredients:

  • Chicken
  • Two cup yogurt
  • Onion three pieces
  • Garlic paste A tablespoon
  • Ginger paste. A tablespoon
  • Sabut Garam Masla Two tablespoons
  • Kewda eight tablespoon
  • Salt a teaspoon
  • Sabut Lal Mirch 20 pieces (round)
  • Turmeric powder one-third teaspoon
  • Finely chopped Ginger three tablespoons
  • Oil one third cup
  • Water as per needed

Method:

Cut the rounded red chili and take of its seeds keep the cover of it for any other use. Then grind the seeds finely. Now heat oil and fry onion.

When golden brown, take out the onion, squeeze it and grind it finely.

Fry ginger and garlic in this oil for two minutes.

Then add chicken and fry on high heat for ten minutes.

Then add sabut garam masala and fry for two minutes.

Now add salt, crushed chili seeds, turmeric and five cups of water, cover and bring to a boil and cook on low heat for 20 minutes.

Remove the lid, add the whipped yogurt and cook on high heat for five minutes.

Now add crushed onion and kewra and cook for another ten minutes.

Add finely chopped ginger and serve.

4: Ramadan Special Alamgiri Korma

Ingredients:

  • Beef boneless. Half a kilo
  • Yogurt – half a kilo
  • Onion – Two finely chopped
  • Oil – as needed
  • Sabut Garam Masala half a cup
  • A teaspoon crushed Coriander
  • Turmeric a teaspoon
  • Cumin – half a teaspoon crushed
  • Chili pepper two tablespoons
  • Ginger garlic paste – two tablespoons
  • Salt According to taste
  • Almonds, pistachios and cashews. Half a cup

Method

Boil almonds, pistachios and cashews and peel them. Now heat oil in a pan and brown the onions. Grind and add to a pound of yogurt, mix and set aside.

Then add garam masala in the same oil and stir. Then add ginger, garlic paste and fry. Now add meat and fry on high heat.

Then add yoghurt, crushed red chilies, crushed coriander, crushed cumin, turmeric and salt. Then add water as required, cover and cook until the meat is melted. When the Korma leaves the oil, fry the almonds, pistachios and cashews in a pan with the oil.

Then add it to the qorma, mix it and serve it. Delicious Alamgiri Korma is ready.

5: Ramadan Special Noor Jehani Korma

Ingredients:

  • Meat – half a kilo
  • Almonds – half a pound
  • Oil – as needed
  • Onion Three pieces
  • Yogurt – half a pound
  • Garlic – a lump
  • Coriander – Thirty grams (crushed)
  • Red pepper – Thirty grams
  • Salt According to taste
  • Ginger A small lump
  • Garam Masala Twenty grams (Sabut)

Method:

Take out the almond kernels, boil them in hot water, peel them and put them in a pot. Now fry the onion in ghee and take it out. Then fry the garlic, ginger and spices. Add yogurt and meat to the roasted spices and start frying.

When the meat is fried, add the fried onions and almonds and add a little water to melt the meat and cook over low heat.

Once the meat is melted, fry it again and take it off the thin stove. Noor Jehani Qorma is ready to serve.

6: Ramadan Special Badami Korma

Ingredients:

  • Chicken – one kg (eight pieces)
  • Onion – Half a cup (fried and crushed)
  • Poppy seeds – a tablespoon
  • Copra – Two tablespoons (crushed)
  • Almonds – Ten pieces (rings and crushed)
  • Oil a cup
  • Mix garam masala – one tablespoon
  • Ginger and Garlic paste – a tablespoon
  • Salt one and a half teaspoon
  • Chili pepper three teaspoons
  • Coriander one and a half teaspoon
  • Yogurt one and a half cup
  • Crushed nutmeg half a teaspoon
  • Javtri half a teaspoon
  • Cardamom half a teaspoon (crushed)
  • Garam Masalam half a teaspoon
  • Fried Almonds for garnish
  • Kewda

Method

First make a paste by mixing poppy seeds, coconut and almonds and set aside.

Now heat a cup of oil, add gram masala, ginger garlic paste, chicken, salt, crushed red pepper and coriander and fry well.

Then add a little water, cover and cook for ten minutes. Now add the prepared paste with yogurt, nutmeg, javtri, cardamom, gram masala and onion and leave it on low heat for fifteen minutes.

After that garnish with friend almonds and serve. The delicious Badami Korma is ready.
