A suitable starting point

Who is this course for?

Children, teenagers and adults who read Quran with reasonable accuracy and can commit to regular memorization and review.

Before you begin

A reading assessment and a discussion of available practice time are needed. Reading or Tajweed preparation may be recommended before starting new memorization.

What you will work towards

  • Use a repeatable method for learning a short new passage
  • Maintain recent and older revision alongside new work
  • Recognise weak passages and bring them back into review
  • Develop steady memorization habits with tutor feedback
Your learning journey

Hifz Program: course content

The tutor uses these stages as a guide and adjusts the starting point, examples and revision to your assessment.

01Readiness and planning

Check reading accuracy, existing memorization and realistic practice time before agreeing an initial target.

02New memorization

Listen, repeat and recite a manageable selection. New work is adjusted to the learner’s retention.

03Recent revision

Revisit recent lessons and connect neighbouring passages to support recall.

04Longer-term retention

Review older memorization, identify weak areas and adjust the balance between revision and new material.

Personal teacher attention

How your one-on-one class works

Your tutor listens to you individually, checks understanding and allows time to repeat a difficult part. The balance of explanation, reading and discussion depends on the course and learner.

  1. Reconnect and revise

Begin with a brief check-in and review the previous assignment.

  2. Learn a focused next step

The tutor explains or models the next skill using a manageable example.

  3. Practise with feedback

Try it yourself, ask questions and repeat with correction or clarification.

  4. Agree the next practice task

Finish with a clear revision task and a focus for the next lesson.

Lesson duration and frequency are agreed during booking. Each activity takes the time the learner needs, rather than following an identical minute-by-minute timetable.

Practice between lessons

Follow the revision assignment between lessons. A quiet daily routine is more useful than occasionally attempting a large amount. Parents can help children keep the agreed schedule.

Progress and feedback

Progress includes retention and accuracy as well as the amount memorized. The tutor may reduce new work when revision needs attention; completing the full Quran by a particular date is not guaranteed.

Talk to the tutor or support team about recurring difficulties, missed lessons or a change in your routine so the next steps remain realistic.

Hifz Program: common questions

1Can I memorize selected surahs only?

Yes. Discuss whether your goal is selected surahs, a juz or a longer Hifz path during the demo. The teacher can recommend a suitable plan.

2Is revision included in Hifz classes online?

Yes. Revision is central to the learning plan and is discussed alongside new memorization.

3How are lesson times and fees agreed?

Share your country, city, weekly availability and preferred lesson duration. The team confirms a tutor slot and the fees for your plan before you enroll.

4What do I need for the free demo?

A phone, tablet or computer, reliable internet and a quiet place are enough to begin. The team sends joining instructions. A parent should help younger children get connected.

Know what to expect

A clear start, with room to progress.

Start at the learner’s level

Tell the tutor what the learner already recognises or reads. In the trial, a small reading or listening activity helps identify the next skill. Beginners may need Qaida foundations; readers may focus on fluency, Tajweed or another assessed goal.

Practise, then review

A typical lesson revisits a familiar task, introduces a manageable next step and gives time to try it with feedback. Ask for one revision task and discuss what the learner can do with less prompting. Progress is individual; no fixed completion date is promised.

How parents can monitor progress →

Match a tutor and local time

Request a male or female tutor and tell us the language needed for explanations. We confirm the tutor, teaching language and appointment before the lesson. For younger children, a parent or guardian should help with the device and remain available.

Regular fee examples use one learner and 30-minute lessons. Other durations and frequency are agreed with the team. View the current plans.

Your request comes before the appointment

A saved form returns a reference. The team then checks availability and confirms joining details. A receipt email may be delayed or filtered; your saved request reference remains useful. Keep your reference if you need support.

Contact the academy before a missed lesson or schedule change. Makeup lessons and refunds follow the current cancellation policy and availability. See service arrangements or contact support.

Try a learning activity

A beginner Qaida practice example.

This is a written learning example, not a recorded lesson or a claim about a particular tutor. During your trial the tutor models sounds, listens to your attempt and explains corrections.

Recognise, listen, repeat

ا   ب   ت

  1. Point to each letter and ask the tutor to model its name and sound.
  2. Repeat one at a time. Let the tutor listen before moving on.
  3. Find the same letter in your Qaida sheet.
  4. Ask which sound needs practice and agree a short revision task.

Parents: notice comfort and attention, rather than counting how quickly the child finishes.
