Kalimas for Kids: Meaning, Pronunciation and Revision
The 6 Kalimas collection in our Download library is a learning aid for phrases taught in many family and madrasa settings. Work through the Arabic and meanings with a tutor; do not treat a numbered collection as a replacement for studying the Quran and authentic teachings.
Understand before memorising
Ask the teacher to explain the words in language your child understands. Discuss belief, remembrance and gratitude through simple examples, without expecting a child to understand every concept in one sitting.
Practise a manageable phrase
Start with the short phrase La ilaha illallah: there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah. Have a tutor check the Arabic sounds. Transliteration is only a temporary aid.
Use the six published learning sheets
Open Download and choose “6 Kalimas | Phrases”. Read the selected sheet with your teacher, then mark what has been practised on the printable revision log. Ask about sources and meanings when they are not supplied on a sheet.
Revise with understanding
Repeat a previous phrase before introducing another one. Ask your child to explain a meaning in their own words. Keep a question for the tutor instead of guessing an unfamiliar word or religious ruling.

These guides support a learning routine. Ask a qualified teacher to check Arabic pronunciation, translations and religious details before using material as authoritative instruction.
