Salah for Kids: A Parent Learning Plan and Prayer Practice
Help a child approach Salah with understanding, correct recitation and a steady routine. Learn preparation, movements and recitations with a tutor rather than treating a poster as a substitute for guidance.
Prepare for a learning session
Discuss Wudu, a clean place, suitable clothing and the direction of prayer with your tutor. Use your local mosque or a trusted local timetable for prayer times; this website does not calculate your prayer times.
Learn one part at a time
Begin with the purpose and sequence. Your teacher can model standing, bowing, prostration and sitting, together with the appropriate recitations. Use the published Male Prayer and Female Prayer illustrations as visual revision aids.
Make recitation a separate practice task
Choose a short passage or phrase assigned by the teacher. Listen, repeat and ask for pronunciation correction. Reading Arabic from a poster alone may not reveal a sound that needs adjustment.
Support without pressure
Practise together, answer questions patiently and encourage consistency. For differences in detailed prayer practice or an individual circumstance, ask a qualified teacher about the approach your family follows.

These guides support a learning routine. Ask a qualified teacher to check Arabic pronunciation, translations and religious details before using material as authoritative instruction.
Learning from your country
Practise with a patient tutor.
